The two men, who are in their 20s, are charged with what the prosecutor believes is a gang murder, but also with weapons offences.
“It is about a settlement between criminal groups,” says prosecutor Maria Thorell in a press release from the Public Prosecutor’s Office.
The shooting took place on the afternoon of July 7, where a man in his 20s was shot. According to information, several masked people were seen disappearing from the scene on mopeds. During the day, three people were arrested, suspected of involvement in the crime. The man died of his injuries later in the day.
Another three are charged
The two men charged with aiding and abetting murder are also charged with aggravated weapons offences. A woman in her 20s is charged with aiding and abetting serious weapons offences.
The evidence consists of surveillance footage, witness statements and DNA from objects used during the crime.
