Former CIA Analyst Says Saudi Arabia Wants Trump Back In White House

A former CIA analyst claimed that Saudi Arabia will support donald trump in his race to return to the presidency of the United States and that they do not want Joe Biden be re-elected.

According to Bruce Riedellwho was an analyst for the US intelligence agency in the Middle East and a White House adviser, the Saudis will try to put sticks in the wheels of the Democratic candidacy by depriving them of diplomatic success in the Middle East.

According to his argument, which includes the British Guardianthe Biden administration, through the efforts of the national security adviser of the United States, Jake Sullivanwith the Saudi crown prince Mohammed bin Salmantries to achieve an agreement between the United States, Saudi Arabia and Israel that allows Saudi recognition of Israel in exchange for some kind of concession to the Palestinians.

However, according to Riedel, the Saudis are unlikely to be willing to make such a gift to Biden, and may delay any such move until after the election, to avoid boosting the democrat ticket with a triumph in the diplomatic field.

“The Saudis do not want Joe Biden to be re-elected. they prefer that donald trump return to the White House. Trump never questioned the Saudis about respect for human rights, he gave full support to the Saudis in the Yemen war and did not sanction them after the murder of the journalist jama khashoggi», explained the analyst Riedel.

Prince bin Salman, who exercises absolute power in Saudi Arabia on behalf of his father the king Salman bin Abdulaziznever hid his good harmony with Donald Trump and his frustration with a Biden administration that he accuses of not understanding the particularities of the Saudi kingdom.

Since the arrival of the Democrats in the White House, bin Salmán has played cat and mouse with the Americans.

First he joined Putin’s game by agreeing within OPEC+ to cut crude oil production by 1.16 million barrels per day. The movement caused stupor in USA and its allies, who accused Saudi Arabia of getting closer to Russia in the midst of the Kremlin’s invasion of Ukraine.

Bin Salman not only did not give in to the pressures of his US ally to withdraw from the agreement, but he even publicly expressed his satisfaction with the cooperation with Russia in the context of the world stability of the oil price.

The Saudi prince was not content with sticking his finger in Biden’s eye with the Russian issue, but rather approached the West’s other great rival in the war for dominance of world markets: China.

Surprisingly, Saudi Arabia and Iranthe two great enemies and rivals for hegemony in the Middle East, agreed to a diplomatic restoration and a reduction in tension between the two thanks to the mediation of Beijing.

The reconciliation between the until then irreconcilable enemies –the differences between the two are not only of a political nature, but also of a religious one, as Saudi Arabia is the main Sunni Islamic nation and Iran the main Shiite Islamic nation– would be the door to a reduction of tensions in Iraq, Syria and Yemencountries where both powers faced delegated form.

That way it was China and not USA the one that opened the window to a comprehensive and lasting peace agreement in the Middle East that would encompass all the conflicts that plague the region.

Now, bin Salmán plays with USA and his hopes of achieving a solution to the great conflict in the Middle East, that of Israel-Palestine, before the 2024 presidential elections.

Most likely, if bin Salman agrees to normalize relations with Israel, it will come after the presidential elections and not before.
