Ihe gendarmes of the Château-Thierry / Nogentel company have been informed of a sad story in the small town of Villers-sur-Fère, in the south of Aisne.

According to our colleagues from the Union, a dog was discovered around 1:30 p.m. on Friday, February 17, in the garage of the home of a young retiree, surrounded by a pool of blood. It seems that this man, who suffered from depression, had been bitten by the dog the day before. He would have slaughtered him.

As the man was alone in the house at the time of the events, only his testimony will reveal the circumstances of the animal’s death.

The man presented himself at the Soissons hospital center where his wife had been hospitalized. He was in turn, then transferred to the Aisne departmental public mental health establishment (EPSMD) in Prémontré.

In Belgium, in January, a 71-year-old man had also slaughtered a dog that had been offered to him the day before.
