Man wins lottery three times in a row and ends up with a $50,000 prize

A Maryland man was lucky in the lottery not just once, but three times in a row. All thanks to the fact that he risked his prizes to buy more lottery scratch-off tickets that were giving him bigger and bigger prizes.

In the end, the man decided to stop having a grand prize of $50 thousand dollars.

The player, who is 64 and lives in Montgomery County, told Maryland State Lottery officials that he bought the first ticket when he arrived at the MOAB Crown gas station in the city of Poolesville.

That first Scratch-Off ticket netted the man a $50 prize..

“That $50 bought the other $30 game,” the man said, referring to how he used his first winning to buy a Gold Rush scratch-off game.

The man took the big surprise that that other game also had a prize, this time it was $30 dollars.

Feeling lucky, the player took the $30 and ordered another ticket for the same game.

On that third occasion, it did hit him big, since won a $50,000 prizes.

The player told lottery officials that he did not make a big scene when he saw a big prize had been won, instead opting to keep the ticket quiet and walk out of the store as if nothing had happened.

The winner said he plans to save the prize money and that only his wife knows that he won the grand prize, but he hasn’t told anyone else.
