Samsung no longer seems to be able to retain the various leaks around its Galaxy S23. Today, a first video of the “Ultra” model has just been shared on the web, confirming its design, very close to that of the Galaxy S22 Ultra.

Reposted on Twitter by Alvin (@sondexix), a short video of the Galaxy S23 Ultra, in its green version, confirms the design of the phone. Shot by a dealer in Nicaragua, the video also features the box of Samsung’s new high-end smartphone.

Like two drops of water

Previous “leaks” have already revealed the design of the Galaxy S23 to us. This first hands-on video only highlights the previous revelations. The first thing that jumps out is the resemblance of the new model to the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. Almost twin brothers whose differences only the most knowledgeable can explain.

This is the case of user Alvin who in a tweet explains why another video of getting started posted in recent days is a “fake”. To distinguish the S22 Ultra from the S23 Ultra, you have to look at the camera block, the size of the borders of each module, as well as the positioning of the latter. Indeed, unscrupulous people do not hesitate to post fake videos of getting started with the S23 Ultra by simply using the S22 Ultra.

He also took advantage of the weekend to post photos of the four colors available for the Galaxy S23 Ultra. Previous leaks were therefore true, the phone will be available in black, green, cream and lavender, as you can see below:

Other photos confirm the presence of the S-Pen stylus that can be stored directly in the phone. As for other models, only the Galaxy S23+ boxes have been unveiled. The proposed colors will be identical to those of the Ultra model.

In the small world of Android smartphones, it is quite common to see photos and videos of products before they are released. A few days before the official presentation of the Galaxy S23, Samsung has started sending copies to its partners. It is therefore “normal” to see the product appear on the web.

Galaxy S23, Plus and Ultra : everything we know (already) before their release

This certainly does not suit the Korean manufacturer, which thus loses the element of surprise around the presentation of its products. But it confirms the growing interest around the product, which is always better than having “leaks” that nobody talks about. Samsung will definitely lift the veil on its Galaxy S23 on February 1st.
