NY.- Governor Américo Villarreal Anaya headed the Security Table in this city where they agreed to work to provide all guarantees to the population and guarantee the economic supply of gasoline on time.
High military commanders from the Eighth Zone and Fourth Military Region were present at the meeting, where the commitment of the Government of Tamaulipas to work jointly and in coordination with the security forces of the Federal Government to inhibit organized crime was reiterated.
Accompanied by the high command of SEDENA, the Navy, the National Guard, the State Guard, officials from the Federal and State Prosecutor’s Office and the CNI, and the Mayor of Nuevo Laredo, Carmen Lilia Canturosas, the Governor reported the deployment of military elements.
The purpose of the guarantee operation is to reinforce patrol work in the various sectors of the city and guarantee the security of Tamaulipas families, businessmen and personnel who work in service stations, he said.
Villarreal Anaya also announced that on the part of Petróleos Mexicanos there is full assurance that a sufficient supply of gasoline will continue to the different service stations in this city.
There is no problem that could affect motorists or the productive sectors, assured the Chief Executive of Tamaulipas.
In addition – he emphasized – the Energy Regulatory Commission, Pemex itself and the Ministry of Energy work together to carry out the review of all gas stations in order to detect irregularities and proceed in accordance with the law.
He expressed that he is attentive and working in coordination to meet at all times one of the most sensitive demands of the population, such as the issue of security.
