Cincinnati (USA), Aug 20 (EFE).- The American Coco Gauff, 19, was proclaimed champion this Sunday of the Cincinnati tournament, the first WTA 1,000 of her career, after winning 6-3 and 6 -4 to the Czech Karolina Muchova in the final.

Gauff, number seven in the world ranking, needed one hour and 56 minutes to beat Muchova, number 17, and won his third title of the season, after Auckland and Washington.
