“Digital Pioneers” training program for young women enters the third round.

Career orientation with a difference: The “Digital Pioneers – your digital year” training program gives young women between the ages of 17 and 27 the opportunity to get to know various digital and technical professions.

The ten-week basic training starts at the Digital Campus Vorarlberg in Feldkirch. This is followed by an eight-month internship in a company. “We would like to offer women the opportunity to get an idea of the IT industry,” explained Thomas Berchtold, Managing Director of the Digital Campus, on Tuesday on the Vorarlberg LIVE show. According to statistics, the proportion of women in the IT industry was only 18 percent in 2020. The special training program should help to further increase the quota. Topics such as job orientation, business processes and personality development are on the program as part of the paid training.
