Chicago (USA), Apr 9 (EFE).- Frenchman Rudy Gobert was taken to the locker room by his own team, the Minnesota Timberwolves, after punching his teammate Kyle Anderson during a timeout in the game against New Orleans Pelicans.

The Wolves closed their season against the Pelicans and played an important victory to determine their position in the ‘play-in’, but in a timeout in the first half, Gobert and Anderson had an altercation that ended with a punch from the French center on your partner’s chest.

Gobert’s strike had no consequences for Anderson, but it did provoke a reaction from the rest of the bench, which divided the two players in the middle of the incident.

Soon after, Gobert was taken to the locker room by his own team.

Wolves reported that the Frenchman would not return to compete against Pelicans.
