God of War Ragnarok has just won a new record thanks to the Game Awards 2022 and the interpreter of Kratos.

On December 8, God of War Ragnarok was rewarded with numerous prizes at the Game Awards 2022. The Santa Monica game collected no less than 5 prizes and one of them even allowed it to reach a record of world thanks to Christopher Judge, the actor who plays Kratos.

Remember, in the first moments of the show, God of War Ragnarok was praised for its acting and Christopher Judge was awarded the ultimate trophy for his performance as Kratos.
After going on stage, it was a very moved Christopher Judge who launched into a speech of thanks, also emotionally charged, for nearly 7 min and 59 seconds.

A particularly long speech which will have enabled him to engrave his name and that of God of War Ragnarok in the Guinness World Records. Yes, Christopher Judge unwittingly won the world record for the longest acceptance speech at an awards show. An unlikely title, previously held by actress Greer Garson who held a 5 minute 30 second speech when she was crowned Best Actress at the 1942 Oscars for her role in Mrs Minivera classic from the 1940s.

Christopher Judge had also been mocked on social networks for his long tirade. Still, as he said shortly after the ceremony, the actor really wanted to thank everyone who helped him get to this point, and he did.
