Just recently at San Diego Comic-Con, Kevin Feige (President of Marvel Studios) announced that the spin-off series echo in the Summer 2023 should go to the start. Since then, however, rumors have been circulating that it will probably not work with this date. True, the show in which Alaqua Cox back into the role of Maya Lopez hatches, already in August wacky been, but apparently they want Echo in at a later date Phase 5 of the Multiverse saga publish.
Is the MCU series still coming in 2023?
According to information from Murphy’s Multiverse is with Maya Lopez’s solo debut early 2024 at DisneyPlus to reckon with. However, there is no reason for the change of plan. Among other things, it is speculated that the spin-off of Hawkeye in the immediate vicinity of Daredevil: Born Again should appear. Here’s the prelude to Spring 2024 intended. In Echo becomes an actor Vincent D’Onofrio as Kingpin return, who already starred in Hawkeye at the side of Alaqua Cox.
And all fans of the Daredevil Netflix series will certainly remember that the villain also played an important role there. So it would actually make sense to show both MCU series in a timely manner. Official confirmation from Marvel Studios is still missing. But even without an echo it would have MCU many projects in the pipeline in the new year. So it should never be boring.
What’s next in the MCU?
After phase 4 with Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and the Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special has come to an end Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania to herald the start of phase 5 as early as February 2023. After that follow Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 and The Marvels in the cinema. Disney Plus subscribers can look forward to the second season of Loki and What If…? looking forward. Also Secret Invasion and Ironheart are planned for 2023.
