One of the most impressive productions that has AppleTV+ between hands is the Monarch: Legacy of the Monsters (Monarch: The Legacy of the Monsters), which undoubtedly has all the ballots to become one of the most important series on the streaming platform.
It will be the first live action television series of the so-called MonsterVersewhich started in 2014 with the film Godzilla and later continued with Kong: Skull Island, Godzilla: King of the Monsters, Godzilla vs. Kong and will soon do so with Godzilla x Kong: The New Empireso this new series is a spin-off of this franchise.
Apple has left us with the first official images of this promising production that will have Kurt Russell and his son Wyatt Russell as protagonists, who will play the same character, the army officer Lee Shaw, although with a difference of 50 years between them. The plot will take place after the events of the film almost a decade ago.
The story will introduce us to two brothers who follow in their father’s footsteps in order to discover the connection that exists between his family and the secret organization called Monarch. The clues they will collect will lead them to the world of monsters and to army officer Lee Shaw in a plot that spans three generations.
The two actors will be joined by Anna Sawai, Kiersey Clemons, Ren Watabe, Mari Yamamoto, Anders Holm, Joe Tippett and Elisa Lasowski. The only thing that remains to be known is the date on which it will be released on Apple TV +, but for the moment what has been confirmed is that it will be made up of a total of ten chapters.
