It didn’t come as much of a shock to anyone when Google announced last September that their Stadia venture was over and that the service would shut down for good in 2023. We got the date back then but the exact time when Stadia will be clapping back for good has thus not been revealed until now.
The time to deal with is then January 18th at 23.59, so if you are one of those who are sitting on a Stadia and have not yet migrated the data that can be migrated to another platform, then it is starting to get a bit rushed the front. If you have bought games for your Stadia, you are expected to receive a refund for these and if you have any of Ubisoft’s games for the console, you will receive free versions of these for PC.
