Google has released Chrome browser version 110. As of this version, a special feature applies, because the update is no longer immediately available to all users. It is an “early stable release”. This early stable release will be released to a small percentage of users, while the majority of users will receive the release a week later on the normal scheduled date; this will also be the date when the new version will be available on the Chrome downloads page.
By releasing the stable release early to a small percentage of users, Google has the opportunity to review the release before releasing it to all users. If a noticeable problem is discovered, it can be fixed as long as the impact is relatively small.
Chrome 110 brings some new features, most of which are not obvious to users.
