The CW is teasing its new series Gotham Knights, which will have some commonalities, but above all a lot of differences with the game of the same name.
the Gotham Knights game was released a few months ago on our machines. We knew that a series project of the same name was in labor, we now have images of this new show planned on The CW for the month of March.

As in the game released a few months ago, Gotham Knights begins with a tragedy: the death of Batman. But here, there is no question of finding historical allies like Barbara Gordon or Dick Grayson to take over. The series will feature a new team of superheroes, but who are mostly sons and daughters of former enemies of the Black Knight.
Batman is dead and a powder keg has set Gotham City ablaze without the Dark Knight to protect it. Following the murder of Bruce Wayne, his adopted son Turner Hayes is accused of killing the Masked Vigilante, along with the children of some of Batman’s enemies: Duela, an unpredictable fighter and skilled thief who was born in Arkham. Asylum and abandoned by her father, Harper Row, a shrewd and acerbic engineer who can fix anything, and her brother Cullen Row, a smart transgender teenager who is tired of being polite and nice. With charismatic and tough district attorney Harvey Dent and the GCPD hot on their trail, Turner will lean on allies including her best friend and formidable coder Stephanie Brown, and Batman’s unlikely sidekick, Carrie Kelley. But our Knights will soon learn that a greater and more nefarious force is at work in Gotham City. This team of mismatched fugitives must band together to become their next generation of saviors known as the Gotham Knights.
A new son for Batman
the character of Turner Hayes, adopted son of Bruce Wayne, was created especially for the occasion of this new series. As the summary above indicates, he is charged, as is the other heirs of Gotham’s supervillains, for killing Batman. They go having to ally, more by obligation than by choicein order to clear their name of all suspicion, and find the culprit trying to bring them down for murder. The promise is therefore a series of investigation, in which it will surely be necessary to expect twists, false leads and deceptions, before knowing who is really behind all this. Especially since the heroes will be hunted down by the authoritiesto start with the inexhaustible prosecutor Harvey Dentwhile they are not not yet become a team that trusts each other. They don’t even have hero status yet, since they don’t have not proven themselves to the people of Gotham !
