Precisely, he stressed that it is the first time that the state of Guanajuato managed to win the space, this in a context where it intends to take advantage of nearshoring and the T-MEC.

“The issue of MSMEs is very important, Guanajuato has become the champion of attracting investment and it is time to consolidate our 242,000 MSMEs, which represent 75% of employment in the state and which represent 50.8% of state GDP,” he said. .

The entity’s Secretary of Sustainable Economic Development, Ramón Alfaro Gómez, specified that the current strategy for detonating MSMEs focuses on different axes, for example, in the case of industrial activities, a link is made with the 10 clusters that exist in the state; Meanwhile, for businesses and services, the state government generated the GTO collective brand, where there are already 5,000 companies that are registered.

“Also, MSMEs are the main suppliers for the government sector, where participation in public works stands out. It is part of the strategy to strengthen MSMEs”, he added.
