In a column published on the Algeria Now website, Hafid Derradji expressed his dissatisfaction with the situation of the Algerian Football Federation. According to the famous sports commentator, the governing body of Algerian football is immersed stalled for several yearsand this has an impact on the performance of the national team.
Derradji stressed that the FAF must be more transparent and accountable to supportersexplaining the reasons for the eviction of certain breeders and responding to criticism.

According to Hafid Derradji, it is not fair to blame players or coaches for Algeria’s failure to qualify for the 2022 World Cup, given that there has been three different presidents at the head of the Algerian Football Federation in three years.
Moreover, it was also pointed out that the national coach interfered in the choice of the president of the FAF, even if no name was mentioned, it is obvious that it is about Djamel Belmadi.
