Yesterday at midnight a 19-year-old young man was arrested, who minutes before had jumped the perimeter wall of Elementary School 106 -in the Islas Malvinas neighborhood of the city of Ituzaingó in Corrientes- from where he stole a jug.

At the intersection of Posadas and Roca streets, moments before being captured, he got rid of the stolen device and tried to escape but was subdued by personnel from the First Police Station who took him to the police station.

According to the official report, in full operation the vice director of the institution requested police presence at the school since she had noticed that someone had entered the establishment and removed a gas tube. To enter the defendant she forced the locks on the door and then climbed through a window in the cleaning room. Shortly after he was released.
