The Ministry of Health (MINSAL) indicated on its social networks that on Monday, January 2, 2023, no deaths due to covid-19 were registered in El Salvador, which translates into good management of actions carried out by the current administration for the prevention of said virus.
Following the information shared, the institution also reminded the population to maintain the necessary measures to counteract contagion and prevent the disease, since this positive downward trend is everyone’s responsibility.
The Ministry of Health maintains all its care centers enabled in the event of any suspicion or symptom so that citizens go for medical attention and the same way its telephone line dialing the number 132 that is part of the Medical Emergency System.
Likewise, community screening and vaccinations are maintained, which benefit the inhabitants of different municipalities on a regular basis.
According to the data shared on the entity’s website, the strategies to combat the pandemic have allowed the recovery of 179,410 Salvadorans out of the 201,785 confirmed cases of covid-19.
