Hogwarts Legacy may not accommodate an expansion
The apprentice witches and wizards of Hogwarts that you are will surely be disappointed to learn that Hogwarts Legacy would not have any DLC planned. The sad news was revealed during an interview with the game director during IGN Fan Fest 2023, with the Avalanche Software employee conceding that nothing had been considered about it.
If nothing is planned for the moment, Alan Tew wants to let us know that the team was initially focused on the release of the title and that it is now working on patching the game.
Let Avalanche Software be reassured, players already have plenty of ideas in case the studio runs out of inspiration.
The possibility of playing Quidditich is for example the wish that comes up most often, while others would like to see the addition of online co-op or why not an arc based on the Ministry of Magic or the prison of Azkaban . Adding a Wizarding Tournament would also be one of many possibilities.
Whatever its future, Hogwarts Legacy should continue to break records on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC while we wait for its arrival on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
