Over the weekend, images and video leaks of the Horizon multiplayer spin-off emerged, although it is apparently rather dated concept material, comments were not lacking and the community has literally split in two.
In particular on Reddit And ResetERA a real debate has arisen among those who adore the graphic style “cartoon” and who instead absolutely rejects the artistic choices of the development team. The most frequent criticism concerns the appearance of the characters that would be too reminiscent of Fortnite, with an aesthetic style that is actually very close to that of the number one Battle Royale in the world.
The menus are also subject to criticism and in general the interface does not seem to be liked by some players, while others praise the numerous customization options apparently present. Although it really is too early to get overwhelmedthe impression is that the Horizon multiplayer spin-off is aimed at a very young audience, thus distancing itself from the more mature stories told in Horizon Zero Dawn and Horizon Forbidden West.
It must be said that the material in question is quite dated and linked to the concept/pitch phase, therefore many things could have changed in recent years and perhaps even the visual sector of production among these. At the moment the game has not yet been announced by Guerrilla Games and PlayStation Studios.
