E-commerce is gaining more ground every day in the taste of consumers in Mexico and this is reflected in the latest study by the Mexican Association of Online Sales (AMVO) in which it is stated that 70% of Internet users in the country intend to to take advantage of the Hot Sale 2023 offers.
This campaign will take place from May 29 to June 6 and so far, according to the association, more than 600 brands will participate by offering their products online with great discounts.
And something to highlight from the study prior to the campaign, is that AMVO has already detected which are the products or services that Mexicans will look for the most in this upcoming sales season.

According to AMVO data, the Hot Sale is already consolidated in the market and this year 92% of buyers in past editions will look for offers again, with only 8% of Internet users being new users who mentioned their intention to buys.

Credit cards, the main form of payment in the Hot Sale 2023
The study also shows other relevant data and that is that despite the fact that the Bank of Mexico (Banxico) maintains a very high base interest rate of 11.25% and that it could increase even more in the next monetary policy decision, 8 out of 10 buyers will use credit card in the Hot Sale.
And it is shown that the credit card It will be used by 83%, after the debit card with 36%, later the departmental card with 30% and purchase in installments without a card 18%.
