Mattel and Milestone announce that Hot Wheels Unleashed has grown to become the racing developer’s most successful title ever. As can be seen from a new press release, we learn that the game has sold over two million copies and has reached over eight million players who together have played over 930 years in total. Milestone manager Luisa Bixio comments on the success as follows:
“Hot Wheels boasts one of the most engaged and passionate fan bases of any brand in the world. We’re proud that Mattel trusted us to bring the brand to life in Hot Wheels Unleashed, and so pleased with how consumers have responded.”
To add to this, Milestone reveals that the car most players use is Twin Mill 2021and that there are over 1.3 units “user-generated content”.
