They are among the best-known couples in Germany’s acting industry: Andrea Sawatzki and Christian Berkel. Now the two are celebrating their 25th anniversary.
Actress Andrea Sawatzki and actor Christian Berkel celebrate 25 years of love. To mark the occasion, the former “Tatort” actress shared a couple photo on Instagram – with fewer, but very happy-sounding words.
The picture shows the 65-year-old and the 60-year-old in front of a plain yellow background. Heads together, they smile gently at the camera. “25 years”, writes Sawatzki and puts behind it a whole series of exclamation marks as well as little hearts, balloons, a dancing woman and a dancing man. Then she emphasizes: “And I’m looking forward to the next 25 with you.” Sawatzki uses numerous hashtags, such as “Lebensmensch”, “Trust”, “Happy”, “Heimat” or The One and Only.”
“You two are so great”
Many users are happy for their luck with Sawatzki and Berkel. Including some celebrities. There are heart emojis from colleagues Simone Thomalla, Claudia Michelsen, Alexandra Maria Lara and Maria Ehrich. Actress Ann-Kathrin Kramer writes: “Keep it up.” Others comment: “How adorable” or “You two are so great”.
The two have been in front of the camera together several times: in 2019 they played in “Divorce for Beginners” and in 2021 in “Sports Badge for Beginners”. Sawatzki and Berkel have been married since 2011 and live with their dogs in Berlin-Schlachtensee. The couple has two sons together, who were born in 1999 and 2002, but no longer live with their parents, as Sawatzki once revealed to the news agency spot on news.
