Public transport tickets will again have an increase in their rates from May. It is that, since March, the monthly updated rate chart system has been in force according to the CPI index of the National Institute of Statistics and Census (Indec).

This Friday, INDEC made official the number of 7.7% inflation corresponding to last month and that figure must be transferred to the increase in tickets.

If this index is taken into account, in La Plata from next month the minimum ticket will cost 46.48 (0 to 3 km). For the following sections of 3 to 6 km. It will cost $50.75, from 6 to 12 km $54.91, from 12 to 27 km. $58.80 and more than 27 km. $62.05.

In the case of trains, on the Roca Line, the minimum ticket will cost $20.72.

It is worth clarifying that the Red Sube system will remain in force in the AMBA, which covers 5 combinations of public transport -either trains, buses, metrobus and subway- in 2 hours, and that a discount of 50 percent of the fare applies at the time of the second trip, and 75 percent less than the value of the fare from the third trip made.
