Via profile

Currently, Facebook offers a native option, in which you can download videos and stories published on your own profile, via browser.

1. open your facebook account in an internet browser;
2. Afterwards, access the published video that you would like to save;
3. Afterwards, tap the three points to open more options;
4. Finally, tap Download Video.

Via FDown.net

To download published videos, you need to use a tool that is not available on Facebook. Among the available options is the website FDown.net. The site allows you to download videos in two different qualities.

However, before downloading the video from the link, make sure it is public. That is, in the case of private publications, the platform may not perform the download.

Below, see how it works step by step:

1. Access the FDown.net website;
2. Then copy and paste the video link you want to download;
3. Soon after, in the Facebook app (Android | iOS), tap the 3-dot icon on the post and tap copy link;
4. Then, on the FDown.net website, paste the link and tap Download;
5. Afterwards, the site will present quality options to download your video: choose one of the available options;
6. Finally, the video will open in a new browser tab. In this step, tap the 3 dots icon, then tap download.

Via Story Saver

If you want to download a video published in Stories, an available option is to use the Story Saver (Web) extension, available for Google Chrome.

1. Install the Story Saver plugin in Chrome;
2. Soon after, open the story of your choice;

Via Android

4. Then go to the tab Files and find all recent downloads in the app;

Via iPhone

iOS also has applications that make it possible to download videos from social networks. An example of this is Clipbox (iOS). However, this app has limitations in the free version: it allows you to save up to 10 videos of 30 seconds in length.

Also, you cannot save the content in the gallery – only share it with other apps. In other words, it is a precarious option. However, here’s how to use it:

1. Open the Clipbox app;
2. Then paste the link of the video you want to download;
3. Afterwards, tap Continues;
4. That done, watch the video, make the cuts, and choose a fragment to follow;
