The arrival of a new Year stands for new opportunities, hope and desire to reconsider new and old goals. And, of course, fulfill those goals It is by no means an easy task.

It is not enough to have commitment, willingness and a lot of enthusiasm. There are certain little tricks that would help us fulfill those long-awaited purposes. Barbi Borrajo, an expert in Digital Marketing, provides us with four of those tips:
1. Brainstorm
Make a list of those goals that you plan to achieve. It doesn’t matter how far away they are. Write those goals that you really want to achieve.
2. Now to filter!
Organize and filter them into three important goals (that will change your life, that is, they will mean a great ‘before and after’) and five secondary ones (they are important but do not imply a great change)
3. Set small goals
No one achieves a giant, abstract goal because it overwhelms you, you have to break it down into pieces. Start little by little, with enthusiasm, effort and discipline.
4. Think about dates and times
Be realistic with your plans. Honestly ask yourself how long it will take you to do this thing or accomplish it and write it down on a piece of paper. “Do not pretend to do in a month everything you have not done in thirty years, that is the worst mistake you can make, but also the most common” says Borrajo.
5. Celebrate your achievements
Set milestones that will make a difference and celebrate when you meet them. This will motivate you to continue on this path of proactivity.

When many see that they are not meeting their goals or are taking a long time to achieve them, they abandon them. Instead, rethink the path you’re taking, but never give up. No one said it would be easy, but the worst mistake is abandoning your goals just because you didn’t make it the first time.
