- On both devices, you need to have Wi-Fi and Bluetooth turned on. If each device happens to have a Personal Hotspot, disable it.
- Sign in to iCloud with your Apple ID. Then, make sure the email address you use as your Apple ID is saved in the other person’s Contacts. Also, make sure the person’s email address is saved in your Contacts.
- Stay close to the other person’s device, within Wi-Fi and Bluetooth range.
