A raging fire engulfed a commercial structure, which houses at least one furniture store and other stores, in the Kensington section of Philadelphia on Monday afternoon.
The incident was reported to have taken place on North American Street. Right next to the large building is a Wendy’s fast food restaurant, which does not appear to have been damaged by the flames, but is covered in black smoke.
Images from the SKYFORCE 62 helicopter captured the column of smoke moving from the structure. In fact, parts of the roof of the structure collapsed as the parties to contain the incident advanced.
