In his first public reappearance of the year, Mauricio Macri led two political events in the country’s main tourist destination, Mar del Plata, where he spoke about current affairs, the inmate of Together for Change and spread the uncertainty about whether or not he will present himself as candidate in the elections, although he surprised with a phrase with a strong impact: “I am in the ring and I will fight until the last day for the future of the Argentine people.”

The former president spoke with references from the PRO, the UCR and the republican Peronism of Miguel Pichetto, predicted that Kirchnerism will be defeated at the polls and made a series of proposals within the opposition coalition to face the electoral competition.

The formal excuse for the acts was the presentation of his book “Para Qué” -the second after its premiere at La Rural, in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Palermo-, with which he seeks to mark the field of what, in his opinion, should represent Together for Change to confront Kirchnerism.

“I am and I was, like that December 7, 2019, when I said goodbye and got engaged. Regardless of the place I occupy, I will be there to guarantee our best companion, freedom, which is what Kirchnerism wants to subdue so much, like all the populist autocracies in the world, ”she assured.
