Mexico City.- Ángela Olguín, 16 years old, and a student of the College of Bachelors Campus 19 of Ecatepec, disappeared outside the public restrooms of the Indios Verdes whereabouts, in the Gustavo A. Madero Mayor’s Office, just under a C5 camera.

Her mother, Rocío Bustamente, whom she was accompanying, had entered the restroom and had not lost sight of her daughter throughout the time she spent queuing, but, in the minutes she was inside, she heard her scream. When she got out of it, Angela was no longer there and her phone had been turned off.

“We came from the Taxqueña Metro to Indios Verdes, at 5:30 in the afternoon we left and I went to the bathroom, she waited for me outside, yes there was a line but I was keeping an eye on her, suddenly I heard a scream saying ‘ma’, I I rushed out and my daughter was no longer there,” said Rocío.

He toured the stalls in the area, asked for her among the merchants, but no one could give him specific information.

Yesterday, Ángela’s family went to the C5 offices, where the authorities showed the video surveillance recording of the area. According to Rocío, this shows the moment in which the minor is intercepted by a man, who takes her by the arm and takes her away.

“My daughter did not leave, they took her away. The recordings are already there but the authorities have not started any investigation,” she claimed last night.

The Attorney General’s Office (FGJ) reported that it opened an investigation folder and activated the protocols for the search for the young woman.

“Detectives from the Investigative Police (PDI) coordinated with the staff of the Mexico City C5 Command, Control, Computing, Communications and Citizen Contact Center for the review and detection of public and private video surveillance cameras in the area” , pointed out the FGJ.

Yesterday, for the second night in a row, family and friends of Ángela closed Insurgentes Norte to demand that the case be clarified as soon as possible.

“Have you seen her?” Protesters asked motorcyclists and drivers.
