Arijon Ibrahimovic and FC Bayern have a future together. As the record champion announced, the contract extension with the attacking midfielder is a done deal. Ibrahimovic is now tied to Bayern until 2025.
The Bundesliga leaders are planning to include the 17-year-old in the pros with immediate effect, as reported by sports director Hasan Salihamidzic: “We are very happy to have extended with Ari Ibrahimović. He has developed very well with us and will now be part of our professional squad. Josip Stanišić, Paul Wanner, Johannes Schenk, now Ari: these are all talents that we have trained at the FC Bayern Campus and from whom we have high hopes.”
Ibrahimovic is also happy with the new working paper: “I am very proud and grateful. For me a dream comes true. I’m looking forward to the next steps at FC Bayern.” In the current season, the youngster scored ten goals in nine games in the U19 Bundesliga. He was once in the squad for the pros. Ibrahimovic is still waiting for his Bundesliga debut.
