Judge Rebecca Vera Ríos found cause for the arrest of César Alexander Carrión Nieves, 33, for allegedly sexually abusing a friend in Guayama.

According to the investigation, Carrión Nieves allegedly entered the residence of the 30-year-old woman on June 12 and would have committed the crime. In addition, she would also have mistreated a minor who was in the house and appropriated cash from the victim.

The subject was charged with crimes of rape, child abuse and illegal appropriation with a bond of $75,000 that he did not provide.

Carrión López was also requested to revoke probation, since he was serving an 8-year sentence for crimes related to Law 54.

One of the detainees is a former police officer who had been expelled in 1993.
