Juarez City.- Without specifying amounts and their delivery dates, the National Institute of Migration (INM) and the Executive Commission for Attention to Victims (CEAV), announced the collaboration between both instances of the Government of Mexico to proceed with the integral reparation of the damage of the victims of the fire in the Provisional Stay of Juárez.

Almost a month after the tragedy that left 40 fatalities and 28 injured, one of them subject to criminal proceedings, the INM announced that this reparation for the damage is to comply with the request of the Guatemalan government, with whom communication is maintained through their consular authorities.

“The INM established a channel of communication and collaboration with the CEAV for the comprehensive reparation of the damage to the victims of the fire at the INM Provisional Stay in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, which occurred on March 27,” the statement quoted.

It mentions that public servants of the institute are in contact with the CEAV to comply with the necessary procedures that are required so that the relatives of the deceased persons and foreign migrants who were injured are fully repared.

“It will be the Executive Commission for Attention to Victims that issues the comprehensive reparation plan for the damage in which the measures are determined. It should be noted that a permanent dialogue is maintained with the authorities of the countries from which the victims originate, as is the case with the Guatemalan government through its consular authorities who requested Mexico to repair the damage, a request that is already in process. with the CEAV to comply,” the statement added.

It also points out that the INM reiterates its openness to collaborate with the authorities and continue supporting the relatives of the deceased and those who were injured, with respect
