You think you’ve seen everything.
Concentrated mom power on Sunday evening “Grill the Henssler”! For the Mother’s Day special, podcaster and author Riccardo Simonetti (30), presenter Aminata Belli (31) and model Larissa Marolt (30) had their mothers in tow for support.
Cooking coach Johann Lafer (65) guided the celebrities and their mothers. While host Steffen Henssler (50) pondered why he should cook with an iron, it got even hotter later in the day: suddenly there was a fire in the studio! Henssler had to delete.
It got just as heated with the dessert: Larissa Marolt had enjoyed the preparation with Mama Elke, but when she rated Christian Rach (65) she almost hit the roof.
After Aminata and her mother Sabine beat TV chef Henssler in the appetizer round, he positioned himself for his challenge against Riccardo and Mama Andrea: Risotto Bellini with chicken and gorgonzola.

Presenter Laura Wontorra (34) was happy: “Bellini! My area of expertise.” Meanwhile, Henssler was examining an iron that he found in the kitchen and was at a loss: “What’s that supposed to mean? Maybe melt something. But why with an iron?”
The answer came shortly afterwards from Riccardo, who was already practiced with the iron. For him, cooking was a superfluous evil for a period of time, so he quickly converted his kitchen into a walk-in closet.
Since then, the food has been prepared with an iron, as Riccardo reported. The fact that Henssler sizzles with classic kitchen accessories amazed the moderator: “Tell me, you’ve never ironed your food?!” Simonetti had even experimented with other styling devices. However, Henssler did not like the new method at all: “Do you want my iron too?”
The ironing sizzling was well received by the jurors. The Simonettis won this round by 26 to 24 points.
“Grill den Henssler”: Chaos cook almost torches the kitchen
For the dessert against Larissa Marolt and her mother, Henssler hoped for support from his chef Howan (22). The task was to prepare Salzburg dumplings, fruit salad and cranberries in such a way that they did not collapse.
However, Howan had already caused chaos during the last cooking session: he accidentally sprinkled Wontorra’s shoes while grating the parmesan. The moderator took it with humor: “Howan gave me cheese malaise. Who does not know it?”

Another blunder caused even more excitement: Suddenly Howan jumped around in Henssler’s kitchen with a burning kitchen roll, who in a panic grabbed the burning object and kicked out with his feet at lightning speed: “What are you doing there again? You’re such a freak sometimes!”

Laura Wontorra quickly rushed over to help: “What’s going on here?” Henssler complained about his civil servant, who had held up the burning kitchen roll instead of putting it out: “He thinks like this: Halligalli. He holds the crepe roll up in the air so that everyone can see that there is a fire. He’s a freak, you!”
As punishment, Henssler not only powdered the dumplings he had just prepared, but also powdered his assistants. And let him set the plates dessert plates: “Howan, put it down!”
Despite the flame spectacle, Henssler’s plate cleared. Reiner “Calli” Calmund (74) couldn’t stop raving: “I should actually give it 12 points.” The red plate from Marolt and her mother received negative criticism, especially from Rach: “If you have fruit salad as a task then I expect a fruit salad that is a little more imaginative than the fruit salad on the red plate.”
At Henssler he logged ten points, at Marolt still nine. The smile was gone anyway, she exclaimed, aghast: “I can’t believe it!” The model rejected the criticism and complained: “Sometimes you let yourself be fooled by the look. We used the original Salzburger Nockerl recipe! No preservatives, no starch.”

But Rach would not be softened. The fruit salad was the deciding factor: “You can try it, Steffen’s fruit salad is terrific. We don’t just want to distribute love points here. That was a perfect performance.”
Shortly thereafter, however, Marolt was reconciled and even congratulated her opponent Henssler, who defeated Larissa and her mother 29 to 26 points.
Steffen Henssler was also happy about the overall victory: He “grilled” the celebrity guests and their mothers with 111 to 100 points.
