The market for woodworking machines in Taiwan is characterized by companies that develop and manufacture high-precision and high-quality machines. LIGNA 2023 will host the event as part of Taiwan’s Overseas Intelligent Machine Promotion Program Next-Generation Woodworking Solutions: Smart, Sustainable, and Zero Emissions (“Next-generation woodworking solutions: Smart, sustainable and zero-emissions”). As an example of the companies that will showcase the full range of Taiwanese woodworking machinery know-how, Kuang Yung Machinery’s Mike Lu will introduce the rip saw with automatic scanning system, which can increase the yield by 7% to 10% with an optimized program . It provides production with a report that includes yield, quantity, total length and cubic feet, allowing the user to easily manage production for inventory control and cost calculation. Leadermac Machinery’s Alex Zheng will talk about the company’s four-side milling machine and a variety of ways to leverage big data in smart manufacturing.
Fiona Hsiao of Innovator Machinery will be demonstrating the company’s custom size corrugated box making machine, which can produce just the right size by selecting the box type and entering the box dimensions on the screen. OAV Equipment and Tools’ Mikhail Ankirsky will explain how the company’s RapidEdge Pro advances the edgebander by combining low energy consumption, a compact footprint and the ability to streamline manual settings. Andrzej Paszkiewicz of Sherng Yuan Machinery will discuss the benefits of using wide belt sanders in a single pass top-to-bottom configuration.
