Boat ‘Polar Prince’ has docked in the port of St. John’sin Newfoundland (Canada), with the flags at half mast in memory of those who died, and before the eyes of a group of police officers and investigators who have come on board after the Transport Safety Board (TSB) of Canada announced that it would be the subject of an investigation.

The GCC has indicated that one of its ships would remain on the scene and “provide assistance and support to recovery operations and salvage as requested by the Boston Marine Rescue Coordination Center.”
The TSB, for its part, had confirmed hours before the sending a team of investigators to St John’s to “gather information, conduct interviews and evaluate the occurrence“.
In its own statement, the security agency said the investigation would be carried out “dIn accordance with the Accident Investigation and Safety Board Law of Transport Canada and international agreements”.
The TSB adds the note, “will not determine civil or criminal liabilityand conducts research for the “advancement of transportation security.”
