With the end of Avengers: Endgame is also the long chapter of Robert Downey Jr. in the role of Tony Stark aka iron man been closed. And while the creative minds at Marvel Studios are currently busy building a time after Tony Stark, Steve Rodgers and Co. in the MCU, one seems to be one small comeback by Robert Downey Jr. to put. According to current rumours, we will be showing the Iron Man actor again in the Marvel Cinematic Universe see.
Appearance in the finale of the Multiverse saga?
Apparently, the deal with the actor is already done. Robert Downey Jr. is said to be in Avengers: Secret Wars belong to the cast. However, it is still unclear what role he will play in this. That there is something with iron man will have to do, but it should be very likely. Maybe one variant from another multiverse. It will be a while before we get the answer though. The theatrical release of Secret Wars is currently for the May 1, 2026 planned.
More conversations with Iron Man
However, there is a good chance that Robert Downey Jr. will make a comeback before Avengers: Secret Wars. So Marvel is interested in showing the US actor in Armor Wars accommodate. Originally planned as a series for Disney Plus, the project is to Don Cheadle (War Machine) now as a movie come to the cinemas. It’s all about Stark technology suddenly falling into the wrong hands. The events of Armor Wars are set to immediately follow the end of Secret Invasion connect. The series with Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury) will be released in 2023 DisneyPlus start.
