The anchor reporters of Telenoticias, Ivonne Solla Cabrera and Jeremy Ortiz received recognition from the Association of Journalists of Puerto Rico (ASPPRO), which is celebrating its annual gala in San Juan this Saturday.
Solla Cabrera received the National Journalism Award that ASPPRO has been awarding for 29 years to reward journalistic excellence.
The call for the contest was in June where active journalists from the island’s main and independent media submitted news articles carried out during the past 12 months.
Meanwhile, Jeremy Ortiz received the special award: Young Journalist of the Year, for his excellent work as a reporter for Telenoticias.
