CELEBRATES. Jessica Newton highlighted the participation of Alessia Rovegno and her interview with the Miss Universe jury. For the organizer of Miss Peru, the young model was in charge of closing the mouth of her main detractors.

Despite being in the top 16, Alessia Rovegno was highlighted by the international press and more than one expert classified her as one of the candidates to win the crown and the organizer of the contest in Peru was no exception.
“YOr do I still think you were worthy of that top 5 and more of that crown”, emphasized Jessica Newton.

During Miss Universe, Alessia Rovegno was consulted in her personal interview about the criticism she had received when she was crowned Miss Peru. However, the model remarked that she is proof that Peru is a multicultural country.
“They have criticized me a lot because I am blonde and not the typical Peruvian for so many people that since 2018 I was on the cover of one of the most important magazines in Peru and they said that I did not represent, that I was not Peruvian, so since I was little I have been exposed to the media by my family ”, were the words of the model.
