Passengers from the Jorge Chávez international airport denounced that their flights were delayed and rescheduled, ruining their plans to leave Lima before the New Year’s reception.

Passengers to different national destinations expressed their annoyance at this situation. As a result, they had to remain at the airport for several hours, they denounced.
Some of them denounced that they had to remain in the airport stranded since noon without being able to board the flight to their destination.
It transpired that hours after these inconveniences, the flights to Chiclayo and Pucallpa they were retaken; although for other destinations this situation persisted.

Given these passenger claims, Latin Airport Partners issued a statement to inform that the flight delays are due to an indication from Corpac to establish a distance between flights.
They also specified that in other cases, the flights could not depart from Jorge Chavez airport dDue to restrictions of the destinations.
