Married couple Camilla (33) and Julie Visnes Lorentzen (26) have shared their journey with in vitro fertilization since last summer.
In December, they revealed that Julie had become pregnant with their first child.
On Tuesday, they come with a crushing update to their several million followers.
In a video shared on TikTok, Julie says that the embryo has stopped developing and that they therefore have to abort.
“We have been assured by our doctors that there is nothing we could have done to prevent this”, writes Julie Visnes.
The 26-year-old is clearly marked in the video.
The couple writes that they need time to grieve the loss, and that they are grateful for the support from their followers.

The influencers have a huge social media following, with a combined total of over 5 million followers on TikTok and almost 1.5 million followers on Instagram.
In recent months, they have given followers an insight into their experiences during in vitro fertilization.
In an earlier video, where it emerges that one of the transfers was not successful, Visnes describes the process as an “emotional roller coaster”.
