Corriere della Sera has exclusively published the famous “Ronaldo card”. The document is signed by Paratici and not by the Portuguese

Corriere della Sera made public the famous “Carta di Ronaldo”, the document that had been found by the finance police in Federico Restano’s office on 23 March 2022, during the second search as part of the investigation concerning Juventus. The letter, which as the lawyer of the Juventus club Cesare Gabasio said in an interception “theoretically should not exist”, is an agreement for the deferred payment of 19.6 million euros as residual debt that Juve had accrued with the Portuguese player before his move to Manchester United. A debt that according to the investigators would never have been entered in the balance sheet and which, if confirmed, would put the Juventus club in big trouble. The paper for investigators arises from the salary maneuver relating to the 2020/2021 season, with the alleged fictitious waiver of monthly payments by some players. Finally, it should be noted that the letter does not bear the signature of Cristiano Ronaldo, while there is that of the former Juve sports director Fabio Paratici. This detail is really very important and could shift the balance within the debate.
