Unmissable meeting place for the great romantics, Love is in the meadow is about to make a comeback with its eighteenth season on M6! Viewers will find on Monday January 30 and February 6 the portraits of the 14 candidates for this new edition of the show (which you can already discover here). Karine Le Marchand went to meet these eleven men and three women, aged 26 to 62, in search of a great love story, moving moments as she confided to our colleagues from TV 7 Days.
“What touches me the most is the great loneliness”
Karine Le Marchand has already met the entire cast of this new edition of Love is in the meadow, and she confessed to being extremely touched by their loneliness. “What touches me the most is the great loneliness of many of these people who work hard, forget themselves because they have their heads in the woods, or want to honor their parents by taking over the business. And it doesn’t just affect the countryside! In my opinion, we should create a great ministry against loneliness”, she confessed. The host also said that she had not been able to contain herself in the face of Patrice, a 39-year-old Norman farmer whom she hugged when he explained to her that he had never been hugged by a woman. “I was upset” she confided with emotion, “I watched the sequence afterwards, and the tears came to me. When we shot his portrait and he confessed this to me, I didn’t think for a second. I got up and hugged him.“
