Karol G draws "the biggest crowd" in free concerts of popular NBC show

NEW YORK — Colombian superstar Karol G, known to many as “La Bichota,” made history this Friday at her free concert for the TODAY show from our sister network NBC in the popular square of Rockefeller Center in Manhattan.

And it is that the native of Medellín and winner of several awards such as the Latin Grammys, Billboard Awards, MTV, among others, attracted “the largest crowd we have ever had” in the free concerts of the TODAY program, as described by the presenters.

The fans of the star of reggaeton and urban music began to fill the surroundings of the Rockefeller Center from Thursday night so as not to miss the presentation of their favorite artist.

Pictures from the concert show the crowd around the stage ready to sing along to songs from their latest album “Tomorrow will be beautiful.”

One of the assistants a little girl, cried when she saw the singer and he had a chance to hug her before the concert started.

“We are having a wonderful experience and I am very grateful and happy for everyone’s support,” said the interpreter of great hits such as Tusa, Provenza and TQG.

During the concert, Karol G along with his women’s band performed some of his best-known songs from the album “Mañana Será Bonito”, which was released earlier this year, including the single with the same name. They also performed TQG, a song she did in collaboration with Shakira, and Amargura.

The concert happens a month before the start of the singer’s tour of the United States which begins August 3 in Chicago.
