The Princess of Wales is campaigning for early childhood. She posted a photo of her, a few months old, with her father, on the Instagram account launched for the occasion.
The photo was taken by his mother Carol. Kate Middleton unveiled on Instagram on Saturday a photo of her a few months old, with her father, Michael Middleton. The future princess catches her father’s face in it.
“Faces are a baby’s best toy,” she captioned the photo.
“On Tuesday we launched #ShapingUs to raise awareness of the vital role our early years play in shaping the rest of our lives,” the Princess of Wales said.
The photo was published on the official princeandprincessofwales account, but also on the new instagram account dedicated to this cause and entitled ShapingUs and now followed by more than 53,000 subscribers.
“Creating a happier world”
She invites Internet users to join her and “share a photo of[eux] Before [leur] fifth anniversary, in order to facilitate these conversations and also to share some smiles and memories”.
The Princess of Wales intends, through the Royal Foundation Center for early childhood, to emphasize the importance to be given to very young children “from pregnancy to the age of five”, an age which “shapes the rest of our lives.”
It’s not “just about raising children”, the princess said. “It’s about shaping our future, shaping our society, creating a happier, healthier, more empowering world for all of us to live in.”
