London.- The huge hat she was wearing prevented her from seeing where she was walking, one of her heels seemed to catch on something and Katy Perry almost fell outside Westminster Abbey, where the coronation of Charles III was taking place.

The singer was part of the two thousand guests who attended the event such as Emma Thompson, Judi Dench and Maggie Smith.

And she turned up in a pencil dress teamed with a matching short-sleeved jacket, with a cinched waist and matching Vivienne Westwood opera gloves.

She accessorized the look with a massive dish-style net headpiece and a statement Vivienne Westwood necklace of three rows of Swarovski pearls and carried her belongings in a white top-handle bag from the designer.

Perry then walked between the abbey pews seeking her place among the assembled guests, even joking on social media that she hoped to find her place before the ceremony began.

And like quite a fan, she was seen taking a photo at the Winston Churchill memorial inside the Abbey.

It was also revealed that the ‘California Gurls’ singer will spend the night at Windsor Castle before performing on Sunday alongside music legend Lionel Richie, as well as Take That, Italian opera singer Andrea Bocelli and bass baritone. Welsh Sir Bryn Terfel.

The event, which will take place in the grounds of Windsor Castle, will be in front of a crowd of 20,000 members of the public and guests and will be broadcast on BBC radio and television stations.
