While US actor Kevin Spacey faces seven further abuse allegations in the UK, he is set to receive a lifetime achievement award from Italy’s National Film Museum. Today, via video, he pleaded not guilty at the hearing in London. On the same day he arrived in Turin, where he received the award. The planned award triggered heated discussions.

Spacey spends a week in Turin attending a master class in the Film Museum auditorium. On Monday, the 63-year-old will present the film “American Beauty” by director Sam Mendes.

Spacey won an Oscar for his role in the 1999 production. Spacey talks to museum director Domenico De Gaetano about his career and the films he’s been in. In this context, he is to receive the Stella della Mole film award.
