The young woman heard one of the attackers say that “I’m taking this black shit as a trophy.” It is one of the most forceful statements that would prove the hate crime committed by the eight attackers.

Caro, who lives in Villa Gesell and works in the nightclubs in the area, witnessed the event in first person because they were at the door of the premises at the time of the attack.

The young woman said that since the incident it is difficult for her to go through the door of the place and that she only does it once a year, to bring “white flowers” to the sanctuary that was set up in memory of Báez Sosa.

Tatiana also referred to the attitude of the defendants who did not seem to show any kind of regret for the fact.
