Attention ! Copies of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom video game were sold before its release date. The title is already available for illegal downloading and spoilers are beginning to flood the web. Some players attempted to stream the game on Twitch, only to be suspended.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has already leaked, more than a week ahead of its scheduled release date, sparking fan excitement and big trouble for Nintendo. Some have already started playing the game and posting images and videos online, while others are desperately trying to avoid spoilers at all costs.
The new Zelda game hacked before its official release
Physical copies of the title ended up in stores before the official release date of May 12, as evidenced by several posts on Reddit. In the aftermath, the game files were also uploaded, with some players rushing to hack it and start playing it before it was released.
Some even tried to spread it Tears of the Kingdom on Twitch, before being suspended. Others have taken to various Discord servers to preview leaked images of the pirated copies in hopes of learning more about the game.

The company’s response will no doubt be swift and could have major consequences for everyone involved. Nintendo has already sued Discord for personal information about users allegedly involved in the game’s pre-order art book leak in February.
The firm also went on the offensive against major Zelda YouTubers in April, who occasionally posted videos containing content Breath of the Wild modified, including a multiplayer mode. A convicted hacker is set to be released from prison, but will still owe Nintendo millions of dollars which he will have to repay until his death.
